Apple Sorbet

Ingredients for Apple Sorbet
2kg Granny smith apples
300g Castor sugar
1 Lemon, juiced
120ml Water

Apple Sorbet recipe method

  • Peel, core, halve and chop the apples.
  • In a saucepan, boil the water, lemon juice & sugar.
  • Add the apples, cover and simmer gently for 5mins until soft.
  • Remove the lid and cook for a further 5mins until the fruit is almost a pulp.
  • Purée, then pass through a chinois and cool
  • Churn as per the machine’s instructions
